Stop, Crawl, Walk, RUN.

This is just a short note to reassure our lovelies that we're still up & running, except, after our rather loooong break *guilty* we are starting to crawl our way back to designing newbies and that has proven to be a challenge BUT not to worry, we are starting to walk to work now, and soon, we'll be back on track & running to work again >.< Thanx for all your concern & support. It has been a rather interesting "SUPER DUPER BUSY" year for us. Let's just say one of us is getting hitched. So, all of us are running amok. Février Designs’s finest.

It has taken us quite awhile since our last post. Just a short update on what has been going on lately. We have been rather busy trying to provide you lovelies with a better selection of Février Designs’s finest. New packaging and more accessories and sticky stickers are being created as we speak. Our range of "Christmas Collection '08" greeting cards will be launched soon so pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee…Do stay tuned for more surprises ahead.

Février is going a bit greener.

Février has always wanted to play a part in saving the environment. And, as of today, we have decided to take a tiny step towards that goal of ours. We are now starting to print our cards on FSC approved paper.

FSC = Forest Stewardship Council. To round it all up, FSC is an independent, non-governmental, not for profit organization established to promote the responsible management of the world’s forests. It provides standard setting, trademark assurance and accreditation services for companies and organizations interested in responsible forestry. Products carrying the FSC label are independently certified to assure consumers that they come from forests that are managed to meet the social, economic and ecological needs of present and future generations.

Let's all stop whining and stop procrastinating and do something today to help earth, which, is our only home. Remember, even the littlest of things count.

(e.g. Use less plastic bags, bring your own shopping bag, ask for paper bags instead of plastic ones, switch off the lights when you leave the room, invest on those energy saving bulbs - it maybe pricer but in the long run, they use less electricity. Hence, lowering your electric bill, which can also mean more money for shoes, bags and even a pint of beer or two :) You don't need a cardigan, just increase the temperature of your air con. Take less hot baths, use less water, use a pail instead of the hose..tiny steps my lovelies)
